Call for Talks

Focus

The seminar’s targeted research areas include programming languages (PL), software engineering (SE), and cybersecurity, particularly concerning PL and SE. The goal is to bring together researchers in these areas to foster collaboration and interaction and to engage students in research endeavors, and to make each other aware of each other’s work.

Format

We are planning to have several talks (20-30 mins) with several format options, including conference-style, positions or new ideas, and tool demonstrations to discuss current research and results in programming languages and systems. The event is free, and participation by students, researchers, professors, and industry professionals is welcome.

Abstract Submissions

Please submit abstracts by Monday, January 28, 2019. Abstracts should be no more than one page. Topics related to programming languages, software engineering, and cybersecurity (with a particular interest in its relation to PL or SE) are welcome. Work at any stage, including preliminary and in-progress, is encouraged. We anticipate talks between 20 and 30 minutes in length, including time for questions and feedback.
